BOWERS AND SON AUTO TO EXPAND SERVICES, HOURS, AND WORKFORCE
SPARTA, NC (July 24, 2008)
In response to a growing number of clientele, Bowers and Son Auto Care will be expanding their current garage space, adding services , and increasing their business hours. Carl Bowers, owner, announced today that the local auto care business, located at 520 Wilshire Drive in Sparta, NC, has plans to begin their building expansion in September, 2008. Bowers stated, “We will begin offering additional services and operating hours in January, 2009. Along with this, we will be looking for qualified mechanics to join our team.”
“We are excited about the future plans of our business,” said Bowers. “The increased garage space, addition of four car bays, new diagnostic and four-wheel alignment machines, and custom muffler equipment will allow us to better serve our customers. We have also decided to extend our daily business hours three days a week in order to accommodate more patrons.”
Carl Bowers and his son, John, began Bowers and Son Auto Care in 1998. For eight of the last ten years, they have been voted “The Number One Auto Care Center” in the Sparta area. They currently offer oil changes, front end alignments, tire repair, tune ups, and the miscellaneous “mysterious noise” checks. With the increased building space and new equipment, Bowers and Son Auto Care can now offer muffler installation and service, custom exhaust fabrication, state-of-the-art wheel alignments, more accurate engine diagnostic testing, and North Carolina state inspections.
Bowers and Son Auto Care is currently open 8AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday. Beginning Monday, January 5, 2009, the business will be open 8AM – 5PM every Monday and Friday, and 7AM – 7PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. “There is a growing need for car service in our area, and we hope to help fill this need by being available to our customers more hours each week,” stated Bowers.
Bowers will also be hiring certified mechanics for the expansion. “We will start interviewing for mechanics sometime in November,” said Bowers. “There will be four, maybe five, car mechanic positions to fill. “
